Thank you to Jeri Boomgaarden and Girls Inc. of Alameda County for graciously inviting SFU and Aspire Cricket to the 2024 EmpowerFest at the Oakland Museum of California. We were able to see firsthand the incredible work Girls Inc. of Alameda County provides for young girls and women in the community from helping strengthen community bonds to college prep and so much more! This summer, our non-profit partner, Aspire Cricket, partnered with Girls Inc. of Alameda County to deliver the Discover Cricket Summer Series, introducing 75 girls to the sport of cricket! And we hope to continue that work for many more years to come.
