At the San Francisco Flower Market, we believe in the transformative power of flowers—not just in floral design, but in education, therapy, and child development. That’s why we’re proud to support a remarkable initiative at Montair Elementary in Danville, CA, where flowers are being used as a hands-on learning tool for all students from kindergarten through fifth grade. What started as a small project in Special Day classes—led by Sylvia Leick (School Psychologist) and Kara Yeoman (Teacher)—has now expanded to the entire school, proving that flowers can: ?? Foster creativity and sensory exploration ?? Improve emotional well-being and social connection ?? Enhance hands-on learning and engagement across subjects .
