Last night the COSW was thrilled to welcome Alison Goh to speak about the work the League of Women Voters of San Francisco does to inform and engage folks around elections. In addition to their forums and voter guides, their youth members are piloting a fantastic VR resource for new voters. Thanks to all the volunteers that put in so much work every cycle.

Today we celebrate Women's Equality Day, which recognizes the anniversary of women being granted the right to vote in 1920. Voting is a crucial right and the cornerstone of our democracy. Women are an influential voting block and we are ready to flex our power in the November 2024 elections!

At #ShiftHappens2024, we were honored to receive a special greeting from Dr. Colette Finn, the Deputy Lord Mayor of Cork City, Ireland – San Francisco's Sister City! Deputy Lord Mayor Dr. Colette Finn shared inspiring insights on how our two cities are working together to advance women's rights and gender equity across the globe. ?? It's a powerful reminder that the fight for equality knows no borders and that by joining forces with our sisters and allies around the world, we can create a global movement for change.
