Senior Staff Attorney Laura Handler represented SDVLP at the California State University San Marcos DV Speak Out and Vigil in October. Every year CSUSM holds this event during domestic violence awareness month to pay tribute to lives lost to domestic violence and for prevention purposes. Many DV related organizations gather to provide resources and information to students for education and advocacy purposes. Laura spoke with over 30 students and many of the providers about SDVLP’s free legal services and where to go to get help should they or a friend ever need help seeking a protective order. #DVAM #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth #domesticviolenceawareness??
