In 2021, we launched the first-ever grantmaking campaign of its kind for a community foundation: Fifty & Forward. Our goal is to award $500 million in grants to address our region’s greatest opportunities in education, for children and families and our environment. This campaign also sets an ambitious goal to raise $1 billion to fuel SDF’s impact for the next 50 years, creating lasting change and building a community where everyone thrives. ? 关于我们
We adhere to a deeply ethical approach to philanthropy, one that holds ourselves accountable to being a trustworthy partner and to approach our work with humility and respect for the expertise of the communities we serve and of the government, nonprofit, business sectors and individuals with whom we collaborate. We will be open-minded, learn constantly, listen carefully to different experiences and different perspectives, build strong and diverse coalitions, support community engagement, and engage in shared decision-making. For more than 45 years, The Foundation and our donors have granted more than $1 billion to grow a vibrant San Diego region.
