This past weekend, the San Diego Community Power team joined Generation STEAM for their Festival of Science and Engineering, an annual event that supports and inspires our community's future #STEAM leaders. Families from throughout the San Diego region stopped by our booth to learn about #cleanenergy and how it powers their home — and powers a more sustainable future.

San Diego Community Power has released two Requests for Proposals (RFPs) relevant to the San Diego Regional Energy Network (SDREN). SDREN?will help individuals, residents, businesses and public agencies transition to cleaner energy, lower their electricity bill, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and participate in the clean energy workforce through energy efficiency programs for all of San Diego County. The RFPs relevant to SDREN?include: The Administrative, Technical and Compliance Support RFP, through which Community Power is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide administrative, technical and compliance support across the SDREN portfolio. The Cross-Cutting Sector Programs Implementation RFP, through which Community Power is seeking proposals from qualified firms to implement the cross-cutting sector programs — Codes and Standards, Energy Pathways and Workforce Training and Capacity Building. Proposers may submit proposals for one or more of the programs. Proposals for both RFPs are due March 25, 2025 at 5 p.m. PST.
