关于我们
The SAPhil performs in the service of our critical mission: community engagement and education throughout San Antonio and beyond. We produce Classics concerts, Student concerts, Specials and have a variety of other initiatives. Our performances take place in large venues, schools, and in the community. The San Antonio Philharmonic is an organization that exists of and for the community. Nothing could be more important to our mission than connecting with the diverse people of our city! Accordingly, our Community Engagement Initiative is a multi-pronged effort that includes free full-orchestra concerts at schools around the city as well as individual musician visits to schools, libraries, hospitals, retirement communities and more. We strive to improve the quality of life for people in our city, thereby creating a stronger community for all.

Take a good look at our new home! This moment has been decades in the making. For one reason or another, the San Antonio Philharmonic (Symphony) and the Scottish Rite Building never came together—until now. Call it destiny or fate, but these two have aligned in a way that feels just right. This partnership is more than a venue; it’s a collaboration that will forever enrich our community. We can’t wait to share the fruits of this incredible relationship with all of you! #SanAntonioPhilharmonic #saphil #ScottishRiteBuilding #NewBeginnings #CommunityImpact

Exciting News for the San Antonio Philharmonic! I’m thrilled to share that the San Antonio Philharmonic has officially moved into the historic Scottish Rite building, marking a monumental moment in the 85-year history of the symphony. For the first time, we have a home of our own! This transition is more than just a change of venue; it symbolizes the grit and determination of our incredible musicians. They have shown remarkable dedication, working collaboratively to take ownership of their future and ensure that our community continues to benefit from the power of live music. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our musicians for their hard work and commitment to making this dream a reality. Together, we are not just building a space for performances; we are creating a vibrant cultural hub for San Antonio that will inspire generations to come. Come and join us at our next performances of Beethoven 9, Christopher Cross, The Nutcracker, and Selena Vive! Buy tickets at SAphil.org and join our newsletter.
