It’s been an exciting week celebrating the?groundbreaking?for Four25 San Pedro Apartments: a new community near downtown that will change the lives of individuals or families experiencing homelessness.??? What makes this project unique is that 25 of the 80 homes will be designated as permanent supportive housing to provide homes to individuals or families who are experiencing chronic homelessness and have a medically verified mental and/or physical health condition that is disabling. SAMMinistries will provide additional supportive services that foster long-term housing stability and overall self-sufficiency to the 25 permanent supportive households of the Four25 San Pedro housing development. Additional supportive services for?residents?will?include: - Food pantry consisting of an assortment of non-perishable food items and common household items, such as laundry detergent and toiletries. - Bi-monthly arts, crafts and recreational activities? - On-site social events, such as game nights, movies nights and holiday celebrations. - Annual income tax preparation offered by a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance organization. Under the direction of the Director of Asset Management, the Asset Management Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of a growing portfolio of over 11,000 rental units at 45 apartment communities including those financed through Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, Tax Exempt Bonds, Essential Bonds, and conventional debt and equity. This position supports the Director of Asset Management on oversight of property management, state and federal reporting requirements, regulatory compliance, budget reviews, contractual oversight, and enforcing SAHT specific policies and programs such as the Tenant Protection Policy, Tenant Emergency Assistance Matters Program, and Affordability Concession Program. The position also requires engagement with our apartment community’s asset management, regional property managers, compliance and asset monitoring vendors, and related consultants.
