In Poland, according to data from the National Police Headquarters, 4,845 suicides were reported in 2024—a 21.4% decrease compared to 2014, when 6,165 cases were recorded. However, the issue remains a serious public health concern. ?? For perspective: According to the World Health Organization, someone takes their own life every 40 seconds, leading to over 720,000 deaths per year—more than the number of people killed in wars ?? ??
