Ahead of #CES2025, our next-generation All Lenses on Prism (#ALoP) telephoto camera solution has been given a #CES Innovation Awards 2025 Honoree in the Imaging category! Solving a common pain point for bulky camera bumps, ALoP by #SamsungSemiconductor uses a folded zoom structure to place camera lenses directly on the camera prism, instead of between prism and sensor. This is the industry's 1st module for 1/2" 50MP, 80mm (35mm equivalent EFL) f/2.58 mobile tele camera, which contributes to a smaller camera bump, as well as brighter telephoto results for your portraits. Last week, #SamsungAustinSemiconductor had the pleasure of touring Cockrell School of Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin to celebrate our ongoing partnership. ?? #SamsungAustinSemiconductor's journey with The University of Texas at Austin began with a $1 million investment in 2023 and bolstered by another $1 million this year. The investment will fund another 40 undergraduate scholarships, seven graduate fellowships, capstone projects and more! We also visited the school's lab to see firsthand how our contributions are helping shape Texas' dynamic semiconductor environment and pave the way for the school’s new Master's of Semiconductor Science and Engineering.
