A few months ago I made Sam's List. A website for helping people/businesses find an accountant. So here's a https://samslist.co update: we're basically making a marketplace. which is very hard. - users wants an accountant. - accountants want users. sometimes, accountants will pay us $ to advertise for more customers. So let's say an accountant pays $10,000, they use Sam's List to get X amount of customers. But because its like a marketplace, if they pay for X, and our traffic is less than X ...the model breaks. So, the update: its hard to get this balance perfect. Which means the current focus for @NotGoKGreen (who runs list): GET MOAR TRAFFIC.

Small things like this make me smile. Kimi runs https://samslist.co/. She started a weekly newsletter for users. At the beginning of each email she tells a small anecdote. It's personal. Like she just went on a great date. Or she is vacationing somewhere cool. This sh*t is the best. Personalizes the brand, is fun for the reader and, more importantly, is fun for her.

I own a website called Sam's List (samslist.co). It's a few months old. It does low tens of thousands a month in revenue. But I think it can make many millions per month one day. Sam's list is building trust with users by requiring endorsements on profiles before they're even available to be a top match. What's even cooler is these endorsements are linked directly to an individual's LinkedIn or X profile so you can see exactly who left each endorsement.
