Such a great time in Vegas with good people! In case you missed the Sample Automation LLC /Illuminated Extractors booth at Bizcon, here’s a recap of some truly new & game-changing technology hitting cannabis processing this year: Illuminated Extractors ProJak technology: the only Hydrocarbon Extraction systems engineered to run Propane as a refrigerant, a significant thermodynamic advantage that completely eliminates the need for large ancillary heaters and chillers, and the associated operational and maintenance costs. Sample Automation LLC ‘s #Rosin Reactor: a scalable solution to automating “jar tech” and decarboxylation of Live Rosin or Resin with data tracking and remote monitoring: During the show we logged in to a live reaction being performed in another state, instantly via smartphone. We also demonstrated via COAs (attached) that by selectively removing the CO2 during decarboxylation in the Rosin Reactor, the relative percentage of #terpenes INCREASES! (as it should!) and the profile is preserved. The batch went from 7.3% to 9.3% after decarb. Illuminated’s Smart X-Tal Diamond Miners debuted as well: the first automated diamond miners with data collection and rocking agitation to prevent to formation of large #thca “pucks” and allow for easy pour-offs. Off-site, the GLG house events and food were awesome and engaging, with the atmosphere and authenticiy other industry events strive to reproduce. It was personally great to reconnect with Aaron Selverston, whom I had not seen in 15-20 years!
