Our Tanglewood Clubhouse team recently hosted students from West Forsyth High School’s CTE Program, giving them a firsthand look at construction, welding, and electrical work. Arthur Samet joined the company in 1991 and succeeded his father as CEO in 2000. Under Arthur's leadership, we have diversified from our commercial/industrial roots into high-growth segments such as multi-family housing, education, healthcare and technology, and we have continued our expansion into the Southeast. Last week we hosted 28 high school students from The Academy of Goal Achievers, Inc (TAOGA) at our Oro Ballantyne site in Charlotte. This visit was a fantastic opportunity to introduce students to the construction industry, showcasing the complexity and diverse workforce involved in every project. A highlight for many was the ride up to the 27th floor on the buck hoist, where they could take in the impressive rooftop views! Our Quality team recently attended the annual Drone Deploy Horizons conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. This year, the conference focused on the future of our industry and emphasized three key themes: Unity, Automation, and AI. ? A recap of our recent Planning vs Scheduling 102 training sessions in Savannah, hosted by the Quality and Scheduling team. Across two sessions, we had 33 engaged participants who dove into the next level of effective project planning and scheduling. Building on foundations from the “101” class, we focused on best practices for organizing “one car garage activities” and how knowing and planning our jobs can drive better results than merely aiming for speed.
