Calling all future managers! ?? This past Wednesday, SAM had its second General Meeting, and we were so excited to see everyone! ??At the start of the meeting, we heard from Steve Crane, who is the SAM Entrepreneurship Program Facilitator. He discussed his background in supply chain operations and his own personal experience in an entrepreneurship program, and then shared his plans to provide 15 lucky students with the same tools and opportunities to elevate their business experience! Everyone is welcome to sign up for the opportunity to take on of those spots! (Good luck!) ??After that, we watched a Business and Supply Chain Information: Valentine's Day Edition video starring our very own Elena Watson and Francisco Solis Olivares! After that, we played a game of Jeopardy where we were quizzed on the different Supply Chain terms we learned from the video. Although by points only one team was recognized as the winner, everyone that watched the video and learned a thing or two was also a winner. Thank you to everyone that joined us! ?And the ball starts rolling! ? This past Wednesday, SAM officially had their first general meeting of the Spring 2025 semester! We had a full house and an amazing time! ?? We started off the meeting with an introduction to SAM and its board members. After, we all went outside to further break the ice by playing a game of Would you Rather and SAM Says!
