Since the company was first founded in Kyoto, Japan by plasma technology pioneer Osamu Tsuji in 1979, more than 4,700 systems have been installed and used for repeatable results in cleanrooms across 36 countries. Our equipment and services are used in a range of industries, including MicroLEDs, Laser Diodes, VCSELs, SiC Power Devices, GaN RF Devices, BAW/SAW Filters, MEMS, and more. Production and R&D teams - working in automobile safety, biotechnology, renewable energy, and other high-tech fields - cannot afford to be without reliable process equipment and support.     🎓 Cornell EMBA Students Visit Samco in Kyoto ⛩️ As part of their Leadership Course to Japan, 40 Executive MBA students from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management visited Samco Inc. for an in-depth look at innovation and leadership in Japan’s semiconductor sector. With an average of 15 years’ experience and backgrounds in global industries, the students toured our facilities and museum, engaged in thoughtful discussions, and attended a talk by our founder and CEO, Osamu Tsuji, on entrepreneurship and Kyoto-style business culture. Topics ranged from global strategy and innovation to lessons learned from 45 years of leadership. Mr. Tsuji reminded us that "it's important to make sure employees feel inspired—and that work is fun, too."
