A huge thank you to the students at Taft 7-12! During their final Pink Out assembly - a school event to raise awareness and support for those fighting cancer - they presented a donation of $1,734.55, all raised through their own efforts. This money will go toward meals, rides to appointments, and care for cancer patients. Your hard work is truly making a difference! ??

?? Strength & Hope at Taft 7-12's Pink Out ?? Taft 7-12 School recently hosted its annual Pink Out assembly to raise awareness about breast cancer and support those affected. Students heard from Theresa Karlik, a breast cancer survivor and nursing manager at Samaritan Health Services, who shared her journey through treatment and inspired students to look out for their health and support each other. In a powerful moment, students stood if they knew someone affected by cancer, reminding everyone how this disease impacts friends, family and neighbors. Kennedy from our Samaritan Foundations team explained how donations raised at the Pink Out event go directly to help people like Theresa and provide important resources for patients. Thank you, Theresa, for sharing your strength and kindness!
