Recently, Shailiza Mayal, Senior Manager at Samagra, was invited as a panelist at Blockchain Anchored Credentials: The Future of Secure Records Management with MARK Studio, organised by Dhiway, in collaboration with Dhanyaayai Enterprise Private Limited. The discussion revolved around 'Mark Studio', a product of Dhiway, and how it is being used by the government across different domains. It emphasised how verifiable credentialing systems enhance trust in the data. Shailiza highlighted its use cases from the domains of agriculture, healthcare & education, further highlighting a specific example of its application in Code for GovTech (C4GT), an ecosystem initiative by Samagra. Samagra recently partnered with Consulting and Strategy Club, IIM Lucknow for Strategist’25, a consulting case competition. In the case competition, participants presented their solutions on 'Expanding Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam’s (HKRN) services to meet private sector requirements’ to a jury composed of our team members: Nikhil Srivastava, Venkatesh Chaturvedi and Aayush Malik. Based on the merit of their solutions, the top 3 teams were: 1st place:? Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad?(Aman Yadav, Devavrat Wagle and Rohit Yadav) 2nd place: Indian School of Business (Ankita Markan, Saumya Gupta and Tejas Ganotra) 3rd Place: Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (Aastha Modi, Nishchay Shopurkar and Rahul Gupta) The winning team received PPI opportunities with Samagra, and the top 3 teams received prizes worth ?1,45,000. The Government of Haryana launched the Kushal Business Challenge (KBC) in October 2024, a unique initiative to foster entrepreneurship among government school students. This multi-tiered competition provides Class 12 students with an opportunity to showcase their business ideas and skills at the school, district, and state levels. Over a period of 3 months, 25,000+ students across 1,000+ schools in all 22 districts of the state registered for KBC, paving the way for 5,000+ innovative business ideas, ranging from laser-based security alarm, organic teas to new-age event management solutions. The state summit, held on February 5, 2025 marked the culmination of Kushal Business Challenge, with the top 5 teams being awarded ?10,000 each, and the 17 runner-up awarded ?5,000 each, as seed grants to further develop their business ideas, along with an year long mentorship.
