The Sam and Nada Simon Foundation

Veterans day is an extra special holiday for us, as one of the key pillars of our mission seeks to support our military. We thank all vets, past and present, for their valor and self sacrifice in keeping us safe at home and abroad.

We recently caught up with our De La Salle scholarship students, to ask them about their future plans and to give a message to Sam and Nada Simon. Up first is Cam Graus. Keep up the great work!

We Will Never Forget.

Last year, the veterans of Piquette Square in Detroit asked us if we could provide them with the materials for a garden that would be constructed and tended to entirely by their residents. We, of course, leapt at the opportunity, and during a recent visit, were able to see it up-and-running. It looks great!

We're blessed as Americans to live in this great nation. Here's to the red, white and blue! Happy 4th of July.

We brought our friends, the veterans of Piquette Square in Detroit, a 4th of July cookout yesterday. A big thank-you to our volunteers, and more importantly, to the vets themselves for their service!

Happy Flag Day! Take a moment to take in everything that our beautiful stars and stripes stand for. We know we will.

Today, we remember and memorialize the fallen soldiers who fought and died for our country. Happy Memorial Day.
