Yesterday, we kicked off Cohort II of #LatimerHouse in Baltimore, and it was truly a sight to see. This isn’t just another accelerator. We’re here to build, scale, and make a REAL impact. ?? We started the day by setting a strong foundation for our entrepreneurs, working on culture, crafting powerful missions, visions, and values—and more importantly, focusing on the practical application of these principles. Because without a strong base, scaling becomes impossible. Big shoutout to the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) for the awesome swag bags, and a special thanks to John “Jack” Dwyer of CFG Bank, who dropped in to share some serious words of wisdom with our founders. When you’ve got mentors like that, you know you’re in good hands. We are beyond proud of our NewView VR team for delivering a cutting-edge, fully immersive experience at the "2024 Play on the Pike" Placemaking event in District Heights, Maryland! ???? This talented group of engineers—most of whom are Maryland natives—spent countless late nights (sometimes until 2 and 3 AM!) developing a next-generation VR experience that reimagined local landmarks like the Penn Mar Shopping Center, Forestville Mall, and Forestville Plaza in the City of District Heights, Prince George's County, Maryland. ???? Their work not only showcased VR but also created a unique bridge connecting multiple generations, fostering conversations about community and the future. The NewView team is a shining example of how innovation, combined with fresh talent, is not just paving the way but reshaping the future of tech. This event also marks a major milestone for Salynt—our first state contract with (M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County)! ?? A heartfelt thank you to Ashley N.
