Now through December 16, help in-store/club or online by: - Visiting your local Walmart or Sam's Club, picking a tag from the tree, and returning the gifts to The Salvation Army at the address on the tag. - Visiting https://lnkd.in/eZ7Mj5ZD, entering your ZIP code to find a Walmart registry near you, adding gifts to your Walmart shopping cart, and placing a delivery order to complete your donation. We’re so grateful to the Walmart Private Fleet for generously donating $163,850 to The #SalvationArmy as part of Walmart’s quarterly Safe Driving Campaign, which encourages Walmart drivers to operate accident-free by donating money for every safe-mile driven. Walmart’s team of drivers completed 20 million safe driving miles in a single week in October, reflecting Walmart’s commitment to safety and their dedication to making a difference in the communities they serve. The Salvation Army in the Greater St. Louis area is excited and proud to announce our 2024 Red Kettle Campaign Chair, John O’Leary! He is a native St. Louisan and two-time #1 National Bestselling author, with an inspiring life story. As the chair of this year’s Red Kettle Campaign, O’Leary will help support our community outreach and fundraising efforts during the Christmas season. "My wife and I admire the impressive work The Salvation Army does throughout our community as it assists with housing, combats poverty, serves veterans, fights addiction, and empowers children," said O'Leary. Following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, our co-branded FedEx canteens swiftly mobilized to distribute food, drinks, snacks, and other critical supplies to survivors across the Southeast.??? ? In response to Hurricane Helene, FedEx canteens were deployed from neighboring states to Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee to support vital response efforts.?? ? Following the devastation of Hurricane Milton in Florida, FedEx canteens were also deployed from Georgia and Maryland to provide crucial support to survivors upended by a second storm.? ? We are continuously grateful to FedEx for generously donating these mobile feeding units.
