The Salvation Army Service Units in Massachusetts recently recognized Roche Bros. Supermarkets with the Angel Tree Community Partner Award. The award was presented to employees at their Mansfield headquarters in appreciation of their amazing support of The Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program in the Southeastern Massachusetts area. We're feeling the love on this Valentine's Day! This week's Packs of Love Distribution event was a great success thanks to an amazing group of volunteers and supporters! The citypakproject and The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory came together for a special distribution of 300 custom-designed backpacks at The Salvation Army in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Those facing the challenges of homelessness received a CITYPAK full of essential supplies. In addition to donating the PAKs, a group of volunteers from Samsonite in Mansfield and The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services volunteered for the event. Each recipient also received lunch from Chef Paul Wahlberg of Wahlburgers, a warm winter coat from Coats for Kids & Families, donations from Dignity Matters, resources from partner organizations in the City of Cambridge, plus a new blanket and gloves. #DoingTheMostGood
