On behalf of The Salvation Army and the Rochester Temple, we want to express our deepest gratitude to all of you who made the Adopt a Family program possible this year. It has been an honor and a blessing to work alongside such generous and kind-hearted individuals to bring hope and joy to those in need. Thank you for every gift prepared with love, for the sacrifice behind each detail, and for your desire to be a light for others. Each present represented more than just a gift; it was a message of hope, love, and compassion. We are delighted to share that, thanks to your generosity, 62 families, a total of 246 people, were blessed this year! Among them, 185 were children, who received gifts that brought smiles to their faces and filled their hearts with joy. Your kindness made an enormous difference in the lives of these children and their families. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and trust. This beautiful act of love not only turned difficult holidays into moments of happiness but also planted seeds of hope in every one of them. May 2025 bring abundant blessings, joy, and prosperity to you and your loved ones. From the Rochester Temple, Lieutenants Menéndez wish you a new year filled with peace and love. Thank you Rochester! Your generosity throughout this year's Red Kettle Campaign is going to help thousands in our community. This past year The Salvation Army of Greater Rochester provided over 50,000 meals and 16,000 nights of emergency shelter to the homeless in Monroe County, along with providing over 8,000 unique individuals with food, clothing and social services. Funds raised through?Christmas Eve (today!) are critical to our ability to continue providing support at this level.
