    Congratulations to Matt Roberge from SLC Bookkeeping, on being selected as our accounting partner of the quarter! Matt spent one year in corporate accounting in Boston before following his passion for skiing to Alta, UT, in 2002. He then stayed for 14 years, working as a hotel Financial Controller and then as the General Manager of a restaurant, all while building his firm, Salt Lake City Bookkeeping. He bought his first home just outside of Clinton, MT, so that he could fish all summer, and he still resides there today.?Salt Lake City Bookkeeping has a strong work culture that puts employees first.     Intuit Live - Intuit's bookkeeping service - continues to live up to expectations, but unfortunately, those expectations are that they have a terrible service. We have had multiple companies reach out to us that had utilized Intuit Live recently, and the results have been concerning. After we had gotten access to QBO and had a chance to review, a common issue arose – Intuit has charged them but failed to fulfill the work they charged for. For instance, they've charged for July but haven't reconciled since February or March. That's when we like to suggest our clients go for a clawback. We can let our clients know how far back the books are and how much has been paid. The fundamental question remains: Why should Intuit be compensated if they are not fulfilling their obligations? We're interested to hear about positive or negative experiences with this service. Share your insights in the comments below.
