Today was #LeadershipUtah’s Arts, Sports & Entertainment Day! This exclusive experience for mid- and upper level management professionals gives participants insights into the opportunities and challenges facing our state while becoming more engaged leaders. The first stop of the day was Lagoon Amusement Park. The cohort had the chance to hear from Dori Clark, Market Division Sales Manager, Madison O’Baggy, Director of Marketing and Julie Freed, Park Spokesperson and Director of Special Events. The cohort learned about park history and current attractions. Next up was the Hale Centre Theatre. Presenters Quinn Dietlin, Executive Director and Brandon Erickson, Associate Director of Development shared history and insights on this beloved theatre. Finally, the #LeadershipUtah cohort visited the Utah Olympic Oval to enjoy a presentation and showcase from US Speedskating. Presenters Shane Domer, High Performance Director and Chris Needham, Development & Partnerships Director shared details such as how US Speedskating is one of the most successful sports in U.S. Olympic history. It was a fantastic day filled with learning and fun!
