On June 24 and June 25, SalonCentric’s National Operating Center participated in St. Pete Pride as part of our multi-year partnership with the St. Pete Pride nonprofit organization. As the largest Pride March in the Southeast and one of the largest in the country, it's our way of standing with our LGBTQIA+ team members, local community and our Beauty Community. On Saturday, June 24, we participated in the Pride Parade, which is a full-day and evening celebration featuring a parade, concert and celebration in downtown St. Petersburg. On Sunday, June 25, we set up the SalonCentric Airstream for the Pride Street Festival. During this full-day event we provide sweet, cold treats on a very hot day, product samples, temporary tattoos, pride-inspired hair fun and just share and celebrate with the larger St. Petersburg community. The SalonCentric Leadership Team who were in attendance at the parade -- Gina Meggo, Tina Tucker, Kareema Wilson (She/Her/Hers), LeAnn Bobitt, Marcy Cappel, Katherine Flecker, Jodi Fountain and Rebecca Bray -- would like to thank all of those who volunteered with us, marched with us and celebrated with us.
