Without a SME in your team your AI app will not be original, useful or solve any real problems. In my newsletter I used to discuss the newest AI apps, but I stopped that because the apps were so similar. There was a lack of originality in use case and even in their website design. Without an expert in the field you are trying to serve your app will not gain traction because it will not differentiate itself from others.

Interesting discussion on internal linking and content structure in Reddit. https://lnkd.in/gKHkbT-E

What is something you have learned in your business? One thing I have learned is that SEO should come first. I might have an idea or a market to pursue. But if there is no business there then I will waste my time. One way to test if there is room for your product or service is by looking at Google trends. Simple SEO research will also help. Fire you get into content planning and production check to see if there is enough j retest to make your efforts worth your time.

Content repurposing is kinda buzzword these days is t it. What some don’t understand is to do it right you cannot copy paste. Taking the content you put on LinkedIn will not have a positive impact on Reddit for example. Reddit is a co variation platform. LinkedIn is a connection platform. On LinkedIn posting ‘how-to’ content will get you likes and followers. People will engage wanting to know more. On Reddit that same content will get you laughed at. You will considered a loser trying to sell a course. I see it all the time on Reddit. Someone will drop in the r/copywriter subreddit with a post that starts ‘5 ways to be a successful copywriter …’. This will get engagement, but not the kind you want. It will be seen as bragging. If you want an audience in Reddit start a subreddit and post your thoughts there. Make it SEO friendly. And then you will gain followers.

Building a business today requires understanding how to market your idea effectively. Social media is a common and often successful approach, but it's crucial to grasp what each platform offers and what content resonates there. My journey on Medium illustrates this: - Initial struggle: I experimented with various topics (yoga, herbalism, nature writing, crypto) that I enjoyed, but saw minimal growth. - Breakthrough: When I shifted to writing about open source tools and projects, my audience expanded dramatically. - Key lesson: Understanding what content the Medium audience wanted from me was the turning point. This experience taught me the importance of platform-specific content strategies. Now, my Medium following rivals my LinkedIn audience, contributing significantly to my newsletter, BrainScriblr. What's your experience with tailoring content across different platforms? I'd love to hear your experience? #business #medium #smm #socialmediamarketing
