I had the honor of representing McCullough Kubota - Gurnee at a SkillsUSA in partnership with Associated Equipment Distributors event at Johnsburg High School. This type of exposure for young people that have interest in the trades and vocational have been limited. This event had an excavator digging field with 10 excavators and we demonstrated a Kubota KX057 with an Engcon Tilt rotator. Great to see all the local equipment dealers, rental companies, material and other vendors show up to support such a great event! Special thanks to Joe Glasel and Tim Winkelman for helping at the booth. On a personal level, it was very rewarding to see the next generation of technicians, operators and other trades coming through and looking at their options.
