Friends, it’s been a rough start to 2024 with hundreds of emergency tenant relocations, cold weather shelter operations, and millions of dollars in damages to our affordable housing partners in northwest Oregon due to the historic winter storm. Happy to end January on a high note – this week we celebrated the grand openings of both Sequoia Crossings, Nicole Utz, Mayor Chris Hoy, Jimmy Jones, Andrea Bell, 60 units of permanent supportive housing in Salem, and the Polk County Community Resource Center in Monmouth Brent DeMoe, Craig Pope – these new additions to our community will save lives. More great news if you are following federal housing tax credit news this week….
