Today, we come together to commemorate the anniversary of the tragedy that took place just across from where our offices sit today, 23 years ago. The senseless acts of violence that took the lives of so many on September 11, 2001 will never be forgotten. I hold a special place in my heart for those we lost, and for the first responders who fought bravely to protect their own. Year after year, I am fueled by the continued resilience and passion of our city in the wake of the attacks. We’ve weathered storms we could have never imagined and come out stronger on the other side. It’s overcoming adversities like these that fill me with pride - I will always be honored to call this city my home. Please join me in remembering and honoring those that we lost, and lifting up those that continue to feel the impacts of this tragedy today. We will never forget.

Together with our long-time partner Oscar de la Renta, we were proud to host the annual fundraiser for the League to Save Lake Tahoe. The event, which showcased an early look at Oscar de la Renta’s pre-spring 2025 collection, raised a record-breaking $1.4 million for the nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of the Lake Tahoe Basin.
