There’s still time to apply for the Saint Therese Youth Volunteer. The deadline is April 4, 2025. Each year, we award scholarships to youth volunteers who have spent time enriching the lives of seniors in a care community, independent or assisted living, senior day program or in a neighborhood or community. Grace Olaleye, a senior from Champlin Park High School, won a scholarship last year after volunteering for two years at Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake. She said the experience was life-changing for her! To be eligible, youth volunteers must currently be in grades 11-12 during the 2024-25 school year and have completed a minimum of 20 volunteer hours with one or more seniors by the date of the submission. This does NOT have to be at a Saint Therese community. Eligible applicants must reside in one of the following counties: ? Minnesota: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott or Washington ? Wisconsin: Pierce or St. Croix ? Michigan: Monroe or Wayne ? What an unforgettable afternoon! Our Grand Opening Celebration at Saint Therese of Corcoran was a huge success — more than 400 guests joined us to mark this special day! The air was filled with music, laughter, and the delicious aroma of great food. Guests explored our beautiful community, posed for fun shots at the photo booth, shopped the charming flower stall, and tested their luck in our lively Winner’s Circle game room. We loved welcoming everyone — from future residents to business partners to city officials to neighbors — and showing off the warm, vibrant atmosphere that makes Saint Therese of Corcoran so special. The warm water therapy pool opened at Saint Therese of Corcoran earlier this month and a group of water lovers came en masse to enjoy the 98 degree salt water! First in the pool was Karen Braun. She, among others, have been eagerly awaiting this opening. Residents will be able to take some Ascend Rehab aquatic fitness classes or simply enjoy walking or swimming to enjoy the health benefits!! A Champlin Park High School senior, Selby was recognized for her enormous contributions to the Saint Therese mission of “doing ordinary things with extraordinary love."
