We are congratulating our Regional Director of Advocacy, Catherine Judge Cardillo for being named Delaware Healthcare Association's Grassroots Champion Awardee on Oct. 29 at their annual conference in Dover, Del. Over the past year, Cathy chaired the Policy committee and led all advocates at all Delaware hospital systems during the recent HB350 negotiations with the State of Delaware bill. "Cathy coordinated more than 44 meetings in a 2 month span to advocate for all the hospitals in Delaware and no one on this stage deserves this award more for her tireless efforts on HB350," said Brian Frazee, president of the Delaware Healthcare Association. At our #centennial event, we unveiled a new mural in the main lobby. This mural was produced in collaboration with our partners at Cornerstone West and West Side Grows. The three artists, Erica E.Lize Jones, JaQuanne LeRoy and Cony Madariaga, spent many hours over the past month bringing this mural to life. All three artists connected with this project on a deeper level as they are from our community, and Cony’s cousin, Paulina, is a current colleague at Saint Francis Hospital. Thank you to Erica, JaQuanne and Cony for their dedication, which has made a permanent mark on our centennial celebration.

Colleagues and community members celebrated Saint Francis Hospital's 100th anniversary yesterday. During the event, attendees honored the hospital's legacy, learned more about The Healthy Village and Saint Francis Hospital and unveiled the new mural in our main lobby. We appreciate all who attended and commemorated this incredible milestone. Here's to many more years of providing the highest quality of care and service to our community.
