FACULTY SPOTLIGHT: Dr. Annesh Borthakur joined the Department of Civil Engineering in 2023 after receiving his doctorate from UCLA and completing a postdoc at the University of Minnesota Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geo- Engineering. His research focuses on stormwater and wastewater treatment, recovering resources from wastes, and the movement of PFAS and microplastics through the environment. He also teaches the undergraduate Sustainability and Environmental Engineering course along with Green Infrastructure and Water Treatment Processes.
