关于我们
Connect with curiosity. We envision an equitable and inclusive society where people are passionate about science and use it to improve lives, transform communities, and empower future generations. By creating a place where everyone can discover together, the Saint Louis Science Center is forging the future of our region. We’re putting St. Louis at the center of science, and science at the center of a more connected world. The Science Center is one of the only free nonprofit science museums in the country, and serves more than 500,000 people each year, making it one of the largest science centers in the U.S. and abroad. Our campus features hundreds of interactive experiences in ten galleries, as well as our indoor-outdoor GROW agricultural pavilion and gallery, our famous McDonnell Planetarium, and a four-story OMNIMAX? Theater. Our mission: to inspire everyone to be curious and engaged in science. Engineering Fun at SciFest! ???? #asceSTL This past weekend, we had an amazing time at SciFest at the Saint Louis Science Center! Our St. Louis volunteers showcased the world of civil engineering with hands-on activities, including a suspended bridge model, Future World Vision VR goggles, and K’NEX structures. It was great engaging with future engineers and sharing how civil engineering shapes the world around us! A huge thank you to all our volunteers who helped make this event a success! ?? #ascestl #ascemademe #ascelocalnews #asce #scifest #slsc #engineersweek #engineersweek2025 #eweek2025 #stem #stemeducation #stemoutreach #engineering #civilengineering

We had a blast showcasing geophysics this past weekend at the SciFest Engineering Expo! Participates got to interact with our MASW array and watch their movements appear live on screen. We also gave hands-on demos of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and the RD locator, revealing how we explore what’s hidden beneath the surface. Thank you to the Saint Louis Science Center for hosting such an engaging event. We love sharing our passion for engineering and can’t wait for the next one! #STEM #SciFest #SCIEngineering

Jamal Stevenson, your post perfectly captures the "why" behind the Saint Louis Science Center's SciFest series. It was so great to have We Hear You, Inc there on Saturday. We appreciate you!
Chief Sales Officer | We Hear You Inc | Utilizing technology to improve the lives of all, especially those with disabilities | Certification in DE&I
Every breakthrough starts with a question, and every question holds the spark of something bigger. This weekend at the Saint Louis Science Center’s SciFest: Engineering Expo, we saw young minds—future engineers, creators, and innovators—approaching our booth with bright eyes and big dreams. With every “How does it work?” and “How can this help people?” they reminded me that impactful change begins with curiosity and the courage to ask, “What if?” Invaluable impact happens when we see our youth start to imagine what’s possible. It’s not just about making things accessible; it’s about breaking down every single barrier that prevents anyone from reaching their full potential. Students, you are the future. Keep asking, keep building, and never stop dreaming. You’re not just learning about technology—you’re on the path to creating the future of innovation, accessibility, and opportunity for everyone. The world is waiting for what you’ll do next.
