SAHARA Las Vegas Team Members Bring Fall Fun to Robert E. Lake On October 24, 2024, SAHARA Las Vegas Team Members dedicated their time and energy to making the Fall Carnival at Robert E. Lake Elementary School a huge success! This effort was part of the SAHARA Cares initiative, which supports our partner school and community. The annual Fall Carnival is Robert E. Lake’s biggest fundraiser of the year, providing vital financial support for teachers and students in the classroom. The event was buzzing with excitement as students, dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes, enjoyed a midway-style magnetic fishing game and PLINKO on a board built by our Engineering Team. These games provided endless entertainment as students fished for prizes and watched their PLINKO discs bop and weave their way down into the winning slots. Lucky winners were rewarded with candy or mini cauldrons filled with Halloween trinkets. SAHARA Team Members ran the games and handed out prizes, ensuring each student had a great time. This event not only brought smiles to the kids – it strengthened the bond between SAHARA Las Vegas and the community. Through this SAHARA Cares opportunity, the students and teachers felt appreciated, and our Team Members experienced the joy of giving back. #SAHARALasVegas #SAHARACares

Congratulations to Our 2024 The Meruelo Group Superhero ? We are thrilled to announce that Angel Pulido, our dedicated Warehouse leader from the Housekeeping Team, is our 2024 Superhero! On October 17, 2024, Angel was recognized for his outstanding contributions and rewarded with a trip for two to anywhere in the world. The Meruelo Superheroes Program recognizes exceptional Team Members who demonstrate Superhero qualities – courage, integrity, leadership, and a helping spirit. The program reached across all Meruelo companies, celebrating the remarkable achievements of seven outstanding winners. Angel has yet to decide on his destination. He will be looking at a map to make this exciting choice! Congratulations to Angel on this well-deserved recognition; we are proud to have him as a vital part of our SAHARA family.

SAHARA Las Vegas Hosts M.E.N.U.S. 2024 | September 27, 2024 We’re proud to continue our partnership with the Hospitality Charitable Foundation by hosting this year’s M.E.N.U.S. (Mentoring & Educating Nevada’s Upcoming Students) fundraising gala. The theme, “Green & Gorgeous,” transformed SAHARA Las Vegas into a stunning Emerald City. Guests enjoyed an enchanting evening filled with entertainment and culinary offerings from top local restaurants, including our own Balla Italian Soul and The Noodle Den. The evening honored @Sean DiCicco, Senior Vice President of Food & Beverage at Invited (formerly ClubCorp), highlighting his outstanding contributions to the Las Vegas hospitality industry and M.E.N.U.S. Proceeds from the event support scholarships for students in UNLV’s Hospitality program, shaping the next generation of industry leaders. SAHARA Las Vegas Salutes Our Housekeeping & PAD Team Stars ?? SAHARA Las Vegas recently honored our Housekeeping & Public Area Department (PAD) Teams in celebration of Housekeeping Week! From September 9 through September 13, we filled the week with pre- and post-shift goodies, a chef-made buffet lunch, raffles, and more. Our Housekeepers and PAD Team Members are vital to our success. They not only ensure the cleanliness of our hotel and casino; they also serve as a crucial set of eyes and ears for our entire organization. These hardworking and friendly folks are often the first point of contact for assisting guests and notifying Team Members of important opportunities to address.
