This season is all about quality—ensuring every contribution strengthens decentralized AI With 3.5M+ waitlist signups, we’re onboarding 75K new users and rolling out major updates for fairness, trust & data integrity ?? Ensuring fairness and protecting AI utility has always been our top priority. As our platform continues to grow, we’ve doubled down on security, quality assurance, and fairness to maintain trust in our decentralized AI ecosystem. We've made significant improvements to create a more transparent, rewarding, and high-quality contributor experience. Here’s what’s new: ?? Enhanced Leaderboard & Ranking System To ensure fair and structured rankings, we’ve introduced a multi-layered ranking system: 1?? Contributors are ranked by total EXP earned. 2?? If tied, rankings are based on total Sahara Points earned. 3?? If both are identical, rankings prioritize earlier claim times. 4?? Final Tiebreaker: If all factors are still the same, users with smaller user IDs will be ranked higher. ?? Daily Task Limits for Fairer Workload Distribution To prevent task hoarding and ensure fair opportunities, we’ve introduced a daily workload limit per user. This helps: ? Distribute tasks more evenly across all contributors. ? Prioritize high-quality contributions over sheer volume. ? Refresh at UTC 00:30 AM daily, allowing everyone to participate fairly. ?? End-of-Season Rewards Update To ensure fair reward distribution and transparent rankings, we've updated our end-of-season reward system: ? Leaderboard rewards will now be distributed at the start of the next season. ? Sahara Points earned during the off-season won’t affect rankings, but achievements can still be claimed and impact leaderboard standings. ?? Expanding the Demigod Program Our top contributors have played a crucial role in improving data quality and training models with high-accuracy datasets. To further elevate AI development, we’re expanding the Demigod tier: ?? From Top 1,000 → Top 10,000 contributors now qualify. ??? More exclusive perks, tasks, and recognition for dedicated contributors. ?? Access to higher-difficulty tasks that demand expertise and precision. ?? Expanding High-Quality Contributions As part of our ongoing commitment to quality-first AI development, we’ve onboarded ~20K professional labelers to support complex data verification and refinement: ?? These experts will work alongside our community to ensure accurate, bias-free, and high-quality datasets. ?? Their contributions will enhance the precision of AI datasets without reducing opportunities for existing contributors.
