The team at Sagecrest Planning + Environmental has established an exceptional reputation for providing efficient and cost-effective municipal planning and environmental services for communities throughout California. Our network of planners offer clients the right tools and services to help them develop a practical yet innovative approach to address their particular planning and community development needs. Sagecrest provides full-service environmental planning to assist public agencies and private sector clients with technically sound, legally defensible, and cost-effective California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance documents. The Sagecrest team has strong working relationships with many public agencies involved with CEQA/NEPA, including the California Department of Fish and Game, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Army Corps of Engineers, which allows us to quickly and efficiently resolve issues on behalf of our clients. In addition, we have extensive experience coordinating successful public outreach efforts for highly controversial projects. Sagecrest delivers high-quality professional environmental documents while meeting schedules and budgets.

Sagecrest is proud to have partnered with the City of La Mirada on the successful implementation of their 6th Cycle (2021-2029) Housing Element. Our efforts included updating the Zoning Code and Zoning Map to comply with new housing standards, policies, and guidelines, ensuring the city can meet their housing goals. Our team also developed educational materials for the community, covering important topics like SB 9, the ADU process and standards, Density Bonus, and more. Through public hearings and valuable community input, staff presented these updates to City Council and received approval in December of 2024.
