The August SAGE event was fantastic. We had a great presentation from Motatassem Abdallah, CEO of Commutrics?and Associate Professor of Engineering at CU Denver.?He addressed green transportation issues by addressing commuting challenges. Commuting to work has made a resurgence since COVID. Commutrics developed a Data-driven Commuting two sided platform to the benefit of both employers and their commuting employees.?They received grant funding, joined our customer discovery programs and have a strong team and have customer traction. Motatassem is partnering with SAGE Advisors to help take Commutrics to the next level. We met in a unique location, come join us, you never know where we'll meet next! What a fantastic gathering last week for the SAGE meeting at Boulder Startup Week! We had an overflow crowd and at least half the room were first time attendees of a SAGE meeting. Great Boulder Startup Week SAGE meeting night. Attendance was over 50 between SAGE advisors live at Galvanize in Boulder, at the watch party at the Innosphere and on zoom. Plus a big crowd of Boulder Startup Week attendees. Carolyn Reuss and Sean Molloy from DERisk did a great job presenting and received lots of feedback. Forming their team now. It takes a village to put on a SAGE meeting. We are excited to be participating in the Boulder Startup Week with a special SAGE meeting on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Galvanize, Quandary Room, 1023 Walnut Street, Boulder 80302. The event runs from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Our presenter is Carolyn Reuss of DERisk Energy, which is De-risking the rapid adoption of Distributed Energy Resources. Small to mid-size companies in utilities providing Solar, Wind, Battery Storage struggle to keep up with the constant threats to their systems. DERisk aims to provide a SaaS solution that will help companies inventory systems, assess risks and know what to do in case of attack. We read about cybersecurity attacks every day, the impact to these companies is huge.?Carolyn and her co-founder, Sean Molloy worked for years in corporate security, now they want to bring that expertise to smaller utility companies. This is an open event and we'd love to have you join us.
