Tom Bauer, Business Development Manager for Safran DSI’s Electric & Power Business Unit, recently took part in the Sikorsky Washington, D.C. Fly-In event, where more than 60 companies gathered to advocate for key defense initiatives. ?? During the event, members of the DSI team met with 11 congressional offices to emphasize the need for continued funding for the H-60 and CH-53K helicopter programs and to support modernization efforts for the Black Hawk — all essential U. S. Department of Defense programs. These meetings were a great opportunity to showcase Safran DSI’s capabilities, technologies, and growing U.S. presence. It also allowed DSI to reinforce its role in supporting the American military with advanced, reliable solutions for land, air, sea and space. ? Advocating for these programs helps ensure continued support for the warfighter and strengthens DSI’s position as a key partner in the U.S. defense industry.
