Dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence in Clark County.
关于我们
Serving Clark County since 1977, SafeNest is Nevada’s largest and most comprehensive charity devoted solely to domestic violence issues. SafeNest’s programs are concentrated in four areas of service: advocacy, counseling, prevention and shelter. Our shelter homes are maintained in undisclosed locations for the safety of abuse victims and their children, and all services are provided with confidentiality as a high priority. Our goal is to assist families from crisis to healing, while empowering victims toward self-sufficiency in violence-free lives. Safe Nest provides services for victims toward self-sufficiency in violence-free lives. To break the pattern of domestic violence, SafeNest provides services for victims, batters and their children. Prevention programs focus on children, teens, and young adults.

Meet our 2024 Hope Hero’s! For the past five years, SafeNest’s Camp Hope has delivered a transformative program for children ages 6 to 18 who have experienced domestic and sexual violence. It aims to restore a sense of childhood by providing a safe, fun environment where kids can build confidence, resilience, and hope for a future free from violence. Through outdoor adventures, team-building activities, and emotional support, Camp Hope helps these young survivors rediscover joy and begin to heal on their pathway to hope.? ? This October, as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we are proud to recognize the 2024 Hope Heroes—survivors and former abusive partners who have transformed their lives through SafeNest’s programs. Their stories of courage and growth highlight the importance of community support, intervention, and education in ending domestic violence. Let’s celebrate their resilience and continue to raise awareness about the resources available to those in need. Together, we can break the cycle and build safer, healthier communities.? ?? In 2023, SafeNest supported 11,150 survivors through 4,270 protection orders; 3,125 crisis responses with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department; and 19,828 hotline calls.?? ? Today, on #NationalCatDay, we're shining a light on an issue many don't realize: countless domestic abuse victims stay with abusers because they can't imagine leaving their pets behind. Pets are family, and the thought of their beloved cats or dogs being harmed or abandoned is overwhelming. At SafeNest, we understand this critical need. That’s why we offer safe lodging for pets, ensuring survivors don’t have to choose between their safety and their pets' well-being. Every survivor deserves a chance at a safe future, with all family members—including their pets. ???? Together, let’s create a safe place for everyone. ?? #SafeNest #DomesticViolenceAwareness #ProtectPets
