In honor of National Adoption Month, we would like to shed light on the positive foster-to-adopt experience shared by Bill Seibel, a valued associate of the Safelite team. Bill’s story started 19 years ago when his family welcomed his daughter Sierrah into their family. His story reinforces the importance of the Safelite Foundation’s mission of providing safety, stability, and a sense of belonging. Exciting news! We’re proud to announce our Safelite Foundation’s first national partnership with Foster Love! We can’t wait to share more as this collaboration kicks off.
Today, I’m sharing exciting news: Our Safelite Foundation has a new and first national partner — Foster Love, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in foster care. ? Our alliance marks a significant milestone as Foster Love celebrates supporting its one-millionth child in foster care. To recognize this incredible achievement, the Safelite Foundation is investing $1 million and committing 100,000 associate volunteer hours to implement Foster Love initiatives to deliver unexpected happiness in communities nationwide.? For the past decade, Safelite associates have supported Foster Love initiatives by building, assembling and delivering skateboards, bikes and sweet cases. And now, we’re taking a big step by entering into a more profound and meaningful relationship, driving deeper impact to support them.?? ? In addition to our financial contribution and volunteer hours, the partnership centers around additional goals, including creating Safe Spaces, funding scholarships for children aging out of the foster system and enhancing a foster-friendly workplace at Safelite. These goals will have a lasting positive impact on the lives of countless children in the foster care system.? ? Over the past seven decades, a lot has changed for our business. Yet, one thing has remained steadfast — our commitment to step forward through our Safelite Foundation to partner with an organization that aligns with our values and gives our people something to take pride in and tell others about.?? ?
