Safe Harbor Coronado, founded in 1998, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has helped thousands of youth and families in our community prevent or overcome challenges such as: Self Esteem, Bullying, Divorce, Social Connection, Drug Use, Suicide, Grief and Loss, Communication Barriers, Mental Illness, Behavior Difficulties, and more. Vision - Resilient youth, able to face life’s challenges. Mission - To provide prevention and intervention that improve the emotional and behavioral health of Coronado youth, families, and the community. Core Values: Empowering youth, Strengthening families, providing accessible services, and prevention & early intervention. We Provide: Programs & outreach for youth, parent & community workshops, and youth & family or group counseling. Our Focus - Improving emotional and behavioral competencies of youth and families such as: effective communication, impulse control, healthy relationships, self-esteem, managing emotions, and coping skills. We’re All About: Empowering youth, strengthening families and the Coronado community, and providing accessible counseling services.
