Safe Families for Children - Minnesota

Safe Families for Children seeks to keep children safe and families together. Safe Families for Children is rooted in faith, fueled by radical hospitality, disruptive generosity, and intentional compassion, to build a network of caring and compassionate volunteers to support families facing social isolation. Our goals are to prevent child abuse and neglect, reduce the number of children entering the child welfare system, and support and stabilize families. Our West Central Minnesota chapter launched in 2020 and is currently serving families within a one-hour perimeter of Alexandria, MN. When your family is in a crisis, we make our families available. We’re here to make sure you are not alone when you know you can’t do it by yourself. Our volunteer community can help support your family as you reach your goals during a temporary crisis or difficult season. If you have a desire to see families together and thriving, there is a way you can help. Because there are so many different ways to engage you can serve in your capacity and how it fits with your family and personal strengths. Join our growing group of dedicated volunteers today and start making a difference in the lives of local families in West Central Minnesota.
