Harnessing the Power of Technology in Disaster Response In an uncertain world full of threats, both natural and manmade, ensuring the safety of citizens and employees is of utmost importance. Authorities globally struggle to accurately locate and alert those who are at risk or in danger, without compromising the safety of responders. At our company, we recognised this critical gap and set out to develop solutions to keep people safe in times of crisis. Our first principle is simple yet powerful: location is the key determinant of risk when it comes to an individual's safety. Armed with this knowledge, we have designed and built a platform that not only solves existing problems but goes beyond expectations. Thanks to our proprietary technology, we have created a system that revolutionises disaster response. Gone are the days of uncertainty and delayed alerts. Our platform utilises cutting-edge technology to accurately locate and swiftly alert individuals who may be in harm's way. By providing real-time information and notifications, we ensure that people are aware of potential dangers and can take necessary precautions without delay. Our technology goes beyond the traditional approach. With our platform, responders are armed with valuable insights and data, enabling them to make informed decisions and respond efficiently to emergencies. In today's fast-paced world, harnessing the power of technology is not just an option; it's a necessity. At our company, we are dedicated to making a tangible difference in disaster response and ensuring the safety of individuals in an increasingly uncertain world. Join us in our mission to create a safer future for all through the power of technological innovation. #Technology #DisasterResponse #SafeCitizens
关于我们
We started this company with the sole aim of developing technology to keep people safe in an increasingly uncertain world, where we are faced with an increasing number of threats, both natural and manmade. This is because in the event of a serious incident, no local authorities or employers have an accurate system for locating and alerting citizens or employees who are at risk or in danger, without in turn putting responders at risk. When it comes to an individual’s safety- location is the key determinant of risk, so… Starting with this as a first principle, we have designed and built a global first technology platform that solves the current problems and more, made possible only with the proprietary technology we have developed.

The Olympic Games are a time of celebration, competition, and unity. Athletes from around the world come together to showcase their talent and inspire millions of people. But behind this grand event lies a crucial aspect that often goes unnoticed - Olympic security. In a world where threats are becoming increasingly prevalent, it is essential to prioritize the safety of everyone involved. That's why our company has developed a groundbreaking technology platform specifically designed to address the challenges faced by event organizers, such as the upcoming Paris Olympics. Our proprietary technology allows for accurate location tracking and real-time alerts, ensuring that individuals who may be at risk or in danger are quickly identified and informed. This not only protects the lives of athletes, spectators, and staff but also minimizes the response time for authorities, reducing the potential for further harm. As the world's eyes turn to Paris for the Olympic Games, the stakes are higher than ever. Our technology stands as a global first in the field of event safety, providing a comprehensive solution that goes above and beyond existing systems. With our innovative platform in place, local authorities and event organizers can have peace of mind knowing that they have a reliable and effective way to keep everyone safe. While we understand that security measures are never the most glamorous aspect of such an inspiring event, they are absolutely crucial. Without a robust system in place, the joy and excitement of the Olympics could be overshadowed by worry and fear. So as we eagerly anticipate the Paris Olympics, let's remember the efforts that go into ensuring a safe and memorable experience for all. With technology and experts at the forefront, we can truly embrace the spirit of the Games and revel in the magic they bring. #Olympics #Security #SafeCitizens

For those who take the printed word seriously
From our Chief Data Officer, Paul Charles, a fascinating breakdown of what is required of Olympic Athletes, it gives me a whole new level of respect. I read an interesting article in the DailyMail.com (See: https://lnkd.in/dJ5d76EA ) and it’s made me rethink the extreme demands we expect from our Olympians. In particular it was this sentence that made me think: 'Caterers are expected to provide 13 million meals to almost 15,000 Olympic and Paralympic athletes' If we break this down… 13million meals for 15,000 athletes Assuming the athletes are present for 17 days (opening to closing ceremonies) And we assume 8 hours sleep per day and 4 hours of training/competing/relaxing per day, leaving 12 hours to eat This means the average athlete will consume 867 meals during 17 days That’s 51 meals per athlete per day Which is 4.2 meals per hour (using the 12 hours above) Or one meal every 14.1 minutes Which leaves me with a new found respect - anyone who can consume that much food on a regular basis is to be truly admired. But I think this could come with some other considerations: If it takes 5 minutes to get to the catering facility (a conservative figure), 10 minutes to eat and 5 minutes to get back, then athletes will need to leave for their next meal approximately 6 minutes before they get back. I think there may be some opportunities here: We should invent time travel – although the effect of repeated temporal events on athlete’s performance is unknown, I think it might be worth the risk in order to get all 51 meals down them. We should launch a new diet book “Eat the Olympian Way” – recommending 51 meals a day could be quite popular with those trying to lose weight. As a diet concept it may not work, but the whole idea is to sell diet books anyway, whether the diet works has always been a secondary priority at best We should probably not take any figures published in the Daily Mail too seriously.
