News alert! ?????? The Nest at Saddleback has won "Best Small Project" in ENR New England's (Engineering News-Record) 2024 Project contest! ???? A total of 19 projects from across the region have been recognized by an industry panel of judges. Projects were evaluated on the ability of the project team to overcome challenges, safety, construction/design quality, and contribution to the industry and the community. If you’ve been up to Saddleback, you’ve probably been greeted by a host in a yellow jacket. The hosts have become a beloved sight, helping new guests navigate their first visit and welcoming the returning Saddleback faithful. The hosts have organized a nonprofit organization, Saddleback Maine Community Corps, a 501(c)(3), and are now on a mission to continue the local Ski Tuesday program at Saddleback Mountain. This ski and ride program has helped hundreds of Rangeley Regional School district students spend half-days at the mountain as part of an 8-10 week program known as Ski Tuesday. Participating children are offered a discounted season pass or lift ticket, free transportation, ski/ride equipment, and professional instruction. For many students, this program sparks a lifelong love of skiing, riding, and healthy winter activities.
