Somaya Faruqi is graduating from Sacramento State College of Engineering and Computer Science in two months with a degree in mechanical engineering. She was the Captain of the Afghan Girls Robotics Team before being forced to flee her homeland when the Taliban took power in 2021. Why is women's education in STEM important?
