Thank you @crystalcreamery and @sacrepublicfc for visiting us this week! Crystal Creamery was generous enough to donate $46 for every goal Sac Republic made this year - and they made a whopping 100 goals!! ??? They then rounded up and donated $5,000 to SCH, which will benefit our Residential program kiddos this holiday season. We thank you for your generosity, and it was great meeting those we haven't met before and enjoying lunch together!

We recently visited Folsom State Prison, where we were invited to meet some of the over 400 incarcerated men who generously donated their own funds to ensure the children served by Sacramento Children’s Home had backpacks and school supplies for the school year. It was a moving visit, and we had the opportunity to hear from some of the men about what motivated them to participate in our backpack drive.
