Last weekend, the South Asian Bar Association of Washington D.C. (SABA-DC)’s sold-out Gala raised nearly $56,000 for our public interest and racial justice initiatives! I’m proud to work with this talented Board and this year’s Gala Co-Chairs, who worked tirelessly on fundraising and getting the evening’s vibes just right as we recognized our Public Interest Fellows, Racial Justice Grantees, and the Gala Awardees. The APIAVote Voter Hotline is a non-partisan, multilingual assistance service dedicated to assisting members of the community in locating polling places, understanding voter registration, and ensuring they receive prompt and accurate information to navigate the voting process. APIAVote is seeking bilingual volunteers in Cantonese and Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, and Bengali.
