Chamber President Mr Neil Diamond was a speaker at the H2A Visa Job Fair in South Africa. The South African Chamber of Commerce USA, in partnership with the Western Cape Government and the US Mission in South Africa, successfully hosted the first H2A Visa Job Fair at Elsenburg in the Western Cape! This recruitment drive focused on providing youth in the Western Cape with a gateway to agricultural jobs in the USA. Every year, more than 11,000 South Africans work on American farms for six to nine months through the H2A Visa programme, helping to support food security in the USA. The Job Fair aimed to diversify the agricultural workforce, and we are proud to report that over 500 applicants registered to attend!
