?? Burrowing Owl Season Starts Tomorrow! ?? From March 15 to October 31, burrowing owl season is in full swing! If operations are necessary during this time, surveys will be conducted by qualified biologists to determine if any burrowing owls are present. As always, we’ll follow Colorado Parks and Wildlife guidelines and consult with CPW for site-specific Best Management Practices (BMPs) to protect these incredible birds. ?? Osprey Nesting Season Is Coming Up! ?? With nesting season starting on March 15th, it’s important to follow Colorado Parks and Wildlife guidelines to protect these magnificent birds. If operations are necessary during this time, a qualified biologist will conduct nesting surveys to assess the status of any nearby nests. CPW will be consulted to establish site-specific Best Management Practices (BMPs) to ensure the safety of the ospreys and their habitat.
