关于我们
Helping children, youth, young adults, and their families find their path to healing and hope is at the core of our work. We can only achieve this by striving for excellence and providing an array of services that are needed and wanted by the community we serve. We continue to expand our service array and locations where we provide services, with therapists in schools and social service agencies. As we serve more than 800 children, youth, and young adults each month – regardless of payer, gender identity, sexual orientation, race or ethnicity, or place of origin – we do so with the intention that we would want our own families to use these services should they need them.

We appreciate The Seattle Times for their in-depth coverage of youth addiction, a crisis we see impacting children and families every day. Their "High Risk" series sheds light on the challenges young people face in accessing treatment—issues we are committed to addressing at Ryther. Congratulations to Hannah Furfaro, Ivy Ceballo, and Lauren Frohne for winning the 2025 Anthony Shadid Award for Journalism Ethics! Thoughtful, ethical reporting like this is essential in advocating for better youth mental health and addiction services. It is challenging for parents and caregivers to help kids and teens navigate social media. Ryther therapists work hard to guide clients to healthy social media use. Here is a great interview with Dr. Anne-Louise Lockhart where she shares practical strategies: https://ow.ly/Hhnp50URxFG
